Kaypacha’s Astrology for the Soul, 06/07/17

This week Kaypacha talks at us from a mystery location near a large body of water (watch it and he does reveal it about halfway through).

Today is Saturday, and the Moon has moved into Capricorn, and on Monday She will move into Aquarius. The Moon moved into Sagittarius by Thursday, conjunct with Black Moon Lilith and Saturn, with Pluto right behind them in Capricorn.

Last night was Full Moon in Sagittarius, such a lovely aspect for Her! I had the blessing of going to the art walk our town holds every second Friday, ran into some old friends and had a great time. Perfect for Sun in Gemini, one day after the Full Moon – we’re having all this left brain/right brain activity – mental thought axis, reptilian brain, old brain, new brain. Gemini is all about mental activity, social media, communication, examining both sides of every equation. Mercury is in Gemini along with the Sun, while Mars moving on into Cancer, which is all about emotional connection, that need to be loved and to be held.

Venus has finally left the bad ass sign of Aries and moved on into stabilizing Taurus, so we can take a deep breath for at least a little while. Mercury is home in Gemini, as Venus is quite at home in Taurus. Mars is the planet which will be having a harder time – we will be having some powerful emotional energy surfacing with this aspect.

Tom is reading a book by Harville Hendrix, P.h.D. (I wonder if it’s Getting the Love You Want, because I have read that, and what he’s saying would definitely fit). We take our childhoods and try to make them work when we become adults. Part of how we choose our partners is that our reptilian brain automatically senses that a certain person has the perfect ingredients to help heal childhood wounds related to our parents or to unsolved trauma. We mirror each other in relationships.

Cancer is the past – and there’s a relationship with our past and our inner child, and now with the Sun in Gemini it’s time to learn about our feelings, our history, and to understand and deepen our relationships with other people. Perhaps we shouldn’t blame them when we feel abandoned by them, or other behavior which may just be a reflection of our own issues and a perfect opportunity for us to learn,.

This is a great time for new therapies – like family constellations – and other analyses which will help us deal with our childhood stuff.

This week’s mantra: Just as an answer to my question makes me question even more, I love that life is a never ending mystery awaiting behind every door.

The Sun is square Neptune still, so there’s a need for forgiveness. My favorite astrologer apologizes for some distractions this time around (there are families playing loudly behind him), and reminds us that life is always perfectly imperfect.

I didn’t type up a summary last week due to an extraction – oddly enough in the same place Kaypacha lost a tooth last month. Only I went to the dentist for mine.

And this week has been busy in all sorts of good ways! Three yoga classes! Lots of improvement in healing and my work, yet also still dealing with challenges as I know we all are, but we are transforming! So keep shining the light and also embrace the soft feminine darkness of night and together we create a whole new day of light and dark intertwined, passing duality.

And for record keeping sake’s, here is a clip of last week’s. That way there won’t be very many missing for 2017.

Namaste. Aloha. So. Much. Love.

Rainbow Blessings of Love and Light! (He starts last week’s report off in front of a waterfall and says, “Water, water everywhere.” Since I have a poem with that title, I can see another very cool cosmic coincidence. There’s been so much going on and it’s changing quickly! Yet it is also going to take lots of hard work and isn’t an overnight process. Healing is ongoing, and we are all in this together.

Love you all.

Kaypacha’s Astrology For The Soul, May 26, 2017

This week’s Pele Report comes to us from a beautiful solitary lake, filmed and uploaded on Wednesday, May 24, as the Moon was in Taurus and moving slowly towards the New Moon in Gemini yesterday, May 25. The Sun is in Gemini, opposite Black Moon Lilith who is in Sagittarius. Venus in Aries is in square to Pluto. Mars is opposite Saturn as well, creating lots of contradictions yet again.

As the Moon goes through Gemini she is going to trine Jupiter, square Neptune, sextile Venus, conjunct Mars, opposite Saturn, and sextile Uranus – big day today, Friday!

On Sunday, She is going into Cancer, and she will square Jupiter, trine Neptune, sextile Mercury, opposte Pluto, square Uranus – these huge aspects will have our emotional bodies activated and tweaked, so it’s important to be mindful.

Chiron is still in Pisces – all of these aspects related to living in the paradox and going through a time of chaos in many people’s lives.

The path of the soul is like a wave. The individual soul emerges like a wave out of the ocean. It individuates and separates – north node of the Moon in Leo contributes to this huge variety of infinite potentials – each of us unique flowers, blooming in our own individual way.

Kaypacha goes on to expound upon duality in this world and the fear of diversity which contributes to such a huge amount of the conflict today. So even if we feel separate or outside of the unity of oneness, we go beyond the ego, the wave crashes, and the drop of water returns to the ocean of oneness.

Reincarnation gives us opportunity after opportunity to go through this individuation process and return to oneness. We come out of the black nothingness (absence of color) in the void – and travel towards the white light of oneness (white being the combination of all colors). He proceeds with an analogy of our differences and how we label ourselves using colors – I am yellow and you are blue but I want everyone to be yellow like me. It is this line of reasoning which leads to all wars.

Just as Jonathon Livingston Seagull breaks away from the flock, we need the contrast to see why we are different. It is because of this we have different religions, different political groups, belief systems, cultures (just what my poem Paradoxes is about). It is time to celebrate our diversity, for we are moving beyond duality as we enter the Age of Aquarius – and an age lasts two thousand years! We are moving into a time of love and compassion, but it takes many lifetimes.

I am simplifying here, BTW. Gemini with the left brain tries to take Pisces and Sagittarius and limit them. Venus square Pluto is coming up to join Eres, Goddess of Discord. Where would we be without discord? Even Eres throws an apple between the three goddesses – Aphrodite, Athena and Hera, and says, “For the fairest.” This creates so much discord and jealousy, for each of them wishes to be the one. And Lilith, as a serpent, brought the apple to Eve in order to experience discord. This all a necessary part of the revolutionary process. It does not need to result in violence, but instead can lead towards loving compassion and unity.

It’s important to not be pulled into polarity but stay in that truth, that beautiful place where we are true to ourselves. Love goes beyond polarity and leads us to the peace which passes understanding and accepting of all the craziness going on. The younger souls are trying to find themselves through the most extreme methods.

This week’s mantra: My deepest true identity is emerging from within. No longer defined by right or wrong, incapable of sin.

Sin has its Latin roots in error (a theology professor back in college explained it as falling short of our divine potential).

We are all moving out of this place of sin and will ultimately realize that each of us is here for a reason, there doesn’t have to be a right or wrong way to be – this is the New Paradigm. And as this is such a lengthy process, have mercy on yourselves! And our grandchildren will inherit the planet we plant the seeds for now, and they will know a world of peace.

Kaypacha’s farewell: May you find your true colors. Namaste. Aloha. So. Much. Love.

Kamea’s farewell: Rainbow Blessings. A’ho Mitakuye Oyason.

Kaypacha’s Astrology for the Soul, May 20, 2017

Okay, apparently I fell into a time warp wave and have absolutely no idea how so much of the month of May flew by with me missing out on writing up my summaries of Kaypacha’s weekly reports. Also, with the energy so intense, it has affected me on many levels, resulting in me being sent to lots of specialists, but I know I will be fine. The best part is I just started physical therapy for my neck and am learning so many great exercises which help quite a bit!

Also went through a break up, and that also has to do with the time warp wave hitting me so strongly. Anyway, enough about me, this week Tom talks at us from his home in Costa Rica, giving us a marvelous view of his backyard and wonderful banana trees which look like they are about to ripen.

Wednesday the Moon was in Aquarius, which is about friendships and social interactions. He says that nevertheless, it is time to MYOB (mind your own business), but Mars in Gemini is not so interested in that, either is Jupiter in Libra.

Moon moved on into Pisces late Thursday, where She will remain until Sunday, when She moves into fiery Aries until Tuesday, when She enters stable Taurus.

We have the Sun square the Moon, with the Moon right on the nodes. This is a very powerful square because it involves the nodal access. The Sun moves into Gemini today, Saturday, but just before that the Sun squared the Moon’s nodes and square the Moon. The square is 28 degrees – so the Sun will be at 28 degrees of Taurus, the Moon at 28 degrees of Aquarius on the south node with 28 degrees of Leo on the north node. As the Sun moves into Gemini today, Saturday, things are lightening up and picking up at the same time. We have fire and air going on here.

Saturn is in trine to Uranus this whole week. And Venus is opposite Jupiter, in conjunct to Neptune. Venus in Aries is powerful and independent, yet also wanting more connection. Jupiter had it’s first in conjunct to Neptune last September, but now it’s retrograde and has been happening again since Wednesday, quincunx. This will be going on until July 4. Kind of hitting us in the face, yet as an undercurrent, so it might not be so noticeable.

Jupiter quincunx Neptune opposite Venus is too much – all about excess. This is a Scorpio in conjunct, which is 150 degrees, not a Virgo in conjunct, which has a very different flavor. Neptune in conjunct makes us want to disappear, go up to a mountain, it’s a time when it’s hard to stay in our bodies, to stay grounded and rooted. The Sun in Taurus is two cobblers working at a bench, all about understanding what’s going on in 3D, hard working earth sign. Since it’s squaring the moon’s nodes – one of the nodes is a mermaid jumping out of the water, and the other is a chrysallis about to emerge as a butterfly.

This is a time of great paradox. We can go into the places of imagination and illusion which are so separate from reality it can be quite unsettling. This is a time where it’s really wanting to help humanity embrace, get used to, and become more comfortable with living in a paradox. It’s not either or, it’s everything else and more. The masculine aspect wants independence while the feminine aspect wants connection, both physical, emotional and spiritual.

We grow through intimacy, mirrors, other people. The questions which arise are should I stay or should I go? Well, we are both in and out. We can want everything and nothing at the same time. We live in a third dimensional world which is polarized, yet we are spiritual beings here to embrace, unite, integrate, and become more aware of how these polarities need each other to do the dance and not be swinging from one end of the spectrum, pointing fingers at the other, and then finding ourselves at the other.

This is a time when there is gravity and yet there is not gravity. Yes there is divine natural law and also the truth is subjective. For any belief you may have, we will discover that there is a paradoxical point of view which may pull us out of our comfort zones. The south node of the Moon in Aquarius will be going on for a year, which has us living in our heads, perhaps so caught up in our imaginations that we are pulled completely out of our knowledge base. It’s scary to come down from the position of being a bird perched on a branch. There are a lot of scary things on the ground.

This is a dangerous time and we know ourselves through danger. We know ourselves through danger and confrontation. This Scorpio quincunx is trying to control, control, control. Kaypacha says we are emerging out of 6,500 years of patriarchal conditioning where we have been taught that we are not enough, that we don’t know enough and we should be afraid and subservient, but despite that, it’s okay to make some major decisions right now. It’s important to trust our intuitions, to know that we are connected to the inner Divine. The enlightened guru says we must be willing to let go of everything in order to enter the gates of Nirvana. This can be rather scary. There are lots of things that can happen, yet it is also super exciting. He likens this to his skiing trips because he is not very good at skiing. This reminds me of the scene in Fantasia where the Magician’s Apprentice practices magic without enough knowledge and everything goes awry.

We can go through these waters trusting and know that control will come back – and we don’t always need to be in control. This is the place where we can dance, play, sing, and fill our hearts with joy and love. We don’t have to know all the answers or have all the money. This reminds me that surrender is seeking the peace which surpasses understanding. Releasing that need to know brings such abundant and lasting peace. And it is always there for us.

This week’s mantra: If I’m going to dance, I’ve got to move, not fight the flow, but feel the groove. Not get twisted by the paradox, but come out smiling like a jack in the box.

Namaste. Aloha. So. Much. Love.

Rainbow Blessings of Love and Light!

Kaypacha’s Astrology for the Soul, April 26, 2017

This week’s Pele Report fell directly on the New Moon in Taurus, which is all about being in the body, listening to the body, honoring our senses, honoring Gaia, our mother, for we are intrinsically interconnected. Tom takes us through a beautiful bit of jungle as he talks at us, which is such an excellent locale for his style of sharing astrological wisdom with the world.

Mercury still has one more week retrograde, and conjunct Uranus and also opposite Eres, the goddess of discord, which he passed by back on March 29 and then made a U-turn and decided to hang out with her again. Eres only passes by every 526 years, so she moves quite slowly. Jupiter is opposing this Eres energy at this moment, while Saturn conjunct the galactic center is square. Because apparently we needed more discord. Which basically amounts to more of us waking up.

Today, Thursday, the Moon moves on into Gemini, Saturday into Cancer, and then Monday it will be Leo. Luckily, Venus will move back out of Pisces Friday which will help her lighten up as she goes direct and back into Aries, pulling her away from that square with Saturn. We will be able to see her in the morning sky now, and she will help energize all of us, in particular with relationships, personal and inter-personal. This has to do with dark feminine forces arising and rectifying the overwhelming and dying patriarchal paradigm with all its corruption, greed, and war.

We are each feeling this individually, while we are all feeling this collectively. New Moon in Taurus is rather heavy, a feeling which will emanate through the rest of this month.

Uranus coming around to Eres with Jupiter opposite brings us self knowledge, self revelation and all sorts of change and lots of examination of our relationships. Eres comes out of the void and gives birth to strife, toil, forgetfulness, starvation, pain, battle, murder, manslaughter, quarrel, lies, dispute, lawlessness, ruin and her youngest child is oath, which can be the most damaging of all of Eres’ damaging children if anyone takes a false oath. We must stand up for truth and against lawlessness and for strength and healing, unity and harmony and not discord.

Discord at any level brings up lack of trust, hidden lies, and with break downs in trust and each of us looking after ourselves we will ask for proof of things. And during this time of “alternative facts” we are living in doubting times. Yet all that was hidden will be revealed. We are getting to the root of these issues, exposing reality and getting to the end of lies and the end of deception. This is not always a pretty picture! It can take some confrontation, some irritation to uncover the layers of denial.

Kaypacha gives us this week’s mantra from a “we” perspective instead of an “i” perspective because it’s truly time for us to get together and talk about solutions, with and through each other as mirrors of our unconscious. We get in touch with our shadow through the other. The foundation of peace and harmony is truth, so each of us need to stand in our truth and share this with others, because without this there can’t be any peace.

Mantra: There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
It’s there for all to see,
calling us all together
from discord into harmony.

Kaypacha’s farewell: Namaste. Aloha. Take it easy, don’t forget to breathe.

Kamea’s farewell: Rainbow Blessings of Love and Light. A’ho Mitakuye Oyasin.

Kaypacha’s Astrology for the Soul, April 19, 2017

This week, Kaypacha’s Pele Report is being recorded at a lovely wilderness sanctuary with Mercury going back into Aries, yikes. Mercury needs to conjoin with Uranus again, so we have more intensity to face until the end of the month.

Aries is all about being spontaneous, getting things done.

This is a crazy-making time with Venus conjunct Chiron until the 26th, square Saturn on the galactic center. Sunday, the Moon comes around to conjunct Venus and Chiron in squaring Saturn all together. Luckily, the Sun just moved into stable Taurus, which helps keep us grounded through all this intense retrograde action and the fiery and steamy energy of planets in Pisces, Aries and Sagittarius.

So some things are moving forward, yet some things, with Mercury retrograde, are not moving at all.

Mars goes into Gemini on Friday, so we will have a palpable shift of energy with these transitions.

So it began to rain, Tom says the sh*&t is hitting the fan all over the world, and in his life as well. Foundations are being uprooted. This is a very powerful time in history, powerful time to be alive, in a body, to experience this madness.

We just need to give thanks, every day, because we never thought this would happen! Important reminder that we all chose to experience this, as we are all multidimensional beings, and we chose to came here at this pivotal time. At this time when duality is cracking apart and the old patriarchal paradigm is ending. This is school. Education – the end of not knowing and the birth of knowing.

Just like when we’re kids and want to play and have fun and they make us sit in a desk and throw numbers and books at us – yet we are full of infinite potential – and the result of our awakening is power, intelligence, and capability. Our creative capacity is enhanced and expanded with our education.

This is particularly important now as Uranus is about to conjunct with Mercury around, for Uranus is all about genius and Mercury is about linear, logical, left brained thinking, and we are all getting our minds blown. It is crucial to do our yoga and our pranayama (I was thinking of an excuse for not doing this, but after typing this up, how can I do that? I also know there is always less pain after even twenty minutes of restorative hatha yoga).

We need to get in touch with and really feel our feelings. Aries is instinct, our gut, our animalistic nature, primal consciousness – we are getting deeper and deeper into our bodies. Uranus is super individualistic, mixed with Aries Sun and Mercury and we get a tough combination – Uranus co-rules the root chakra with Saturn and Pluto. This impulse. We are becoming illuminated through dreams, through family, through Facebook and other social media – figuratively struck by lightning, which is getting us more in touch with our essential core beliefs. We are standing up for our freedom of expression.

These aspects also can make us want to break free from our jobs, relationships, dwellings and embrace new ideas, new communities, new inventions, yet as we start setting our sites on these goals we will see how each goal is full of steps and certain karmic stumbling blocks are absolutely set in place at different levels (appropriate levels, of course) for each of us.

It’s like we’re being told that recess is not yet, Mercury retrograde says for us to sit down because we need to know these things. We could all be ready to explode these days – Mars in Taurus is like a volcano – volcanoes are going off in Costa Rica.

Knowing the time element and the steps involved will help us to make our plans accordingly. Sometimes when we do things spontaneously, too quickly, there are some repercussions we have to deal with which may not be so pleasant at all – like what’s going on with North Korea, Syria, Afghanistan, Russia – yikes.

Getting in touch with our animal nature, our instinct, ourselves at a cellular level is what we get with Aries. It’s important to tap into ourselves and deal with the complexities which arise out of that.

This week’s mantra: Life is an education, drawing me out of me. The bigger me out of the little me. The more that I can handle, the more I set myself free.

He encourages us to be real, stay sober, and deal with the complexities of this life, for the more difficult and complex it is, it will get easier as we plunge into it. If we avoid by numbing ourselves, we simply won’t learn the necessary lessons.

Merely paraphrasing and a brief summary, for Tom says all this and much, much more, and is so worth watching each week. I find it very helpful.

Kaypach: Namaste. Aloha. So. Much. Love.

Kamea: Om Namaha Shivaya. Rainbow Blessings of Love and Light to all of you.

Kaypacha’s Astrology For The Soul, April 12, 2017

Well, here we are just past the awesome Full Moon in Libra. This week Tom talks at us from a relaxing lovely spring. Wish I could go to a place like that right now, but imagining is the next best thing.

Mars in Taurus is heavy energy – stable and yet hard to venture outwards, lots of time out. Retrograde Venus in Pisces along with Chiron in Pisces takes us down, down, down into our inner selves – Chiron creates a healing crisis for many of us. The reason for this is so we can learn to feel our feelings. This is our root chakra, kundalini life force and is powerful. We’re like a volcano which is building up lots of pressure, wanting to blow – like a lion and a tiger in a cage, or a bull in a china shop.

Mercury in retrograde is commerce, business, things breaking down – Kaypacha’s internet went down the other day, it’s a good time to be prepared. It’s about fast, sharp, overwhelming amounts of information to the point where we don’t feel anything, actually even become a computer, needing more intense movies, sex, etc. so that we can feel. It’s been accelerating, so those of us remaining in touch with our feelings are so blessed.

Pisces is Spirit and CHiron wants to heal our division from Spirit. Meditation, music, yoga, dance, poetry, Nature – that which gets us in touch with healing and away from the mainstream news – so much chaos going on out there – we need to remain centered and come from a deeper profound meaning of love.

Lots of paraphrasing here but sometimes I throw in some of my own perspectives. Here the Sun is conjunct Uranus in Aries has us asking if we are truly living our truth, and if we are financially, sexually, physically satisfied. Is our love life working? Or not? These lower chakra connections brings up these questions – are we just friends, political allies, or is this something more? The movement of feeling is emotion. Our feelings and thoughts are maya – illusion – we deceive ourselves. We need to diagnose our lives, our relationships, our values and our goals. Bucket list evaluation – are we doing it or just surfing, getting distracted by this link, that link and that other link and before long headed for the grave?

Uranus in Aries helps us to break free from the chains of our old habits which no longer serve us. But we must be careful not to over-react. Action and not reaction. Three days to sleep on it, to dream on it. Uranus is the great witness, witnessing our feelings, our lives and our relationships. Saturn square is saying be mature, be patient, make a plan.

This is the Year of Profound Revelation and End of Illusion, so it’s best to be in that place of the Witness, where we see the places more freedom is needed, more discipline, be real and willing to break free of the old patterns. We must be conscious of our habits, then they are no longer habits. Habits are activities based on fear.

We can be afraid to change – they might not love us anymore, we might mess it up, but we have to take the risks and do the work and let go of the old order, the old paradigm, the old you, which is naturally scary. Saturn in Sagittarius is the root chakra.

It’s natural to be afraid to step up and out of the old ways, because letting go is just scary. Venus, Chiron, Neptune in Pisces is all helping us to let go and evolve into something even more of ourselves, our spiritual genius, let go and slowly allow Spirit, your own unconscious, whatever you want to call it, more room.

All of this and so much more in the spontaneous compassionate way that Kaypacha shares with us each week.

This week’s mantra: Great Spirit states it’s time to change,
not superficially rearrange,
but dig beneath the surface and the new
to the fear that is gnawing away at your root.

Kaypacha’s Farewell: Namasate. Aloha. So. Much. Love.

Kamea’s Farewell: Om Namaha Shivaya. Om Shanti. Shanti. Shanti.

Kaypacha’s Astrology For The Soul, April 05, 2017

This week Kaypacha talks at us from a lovely park near his home in Costa Rica, beginning with the cycles of the moon, which is moving on into Virgo today, into Libra Sunday just in time for the Full Moon in Libra on Monday.

Saturn in Sagittarius just went retrograde Wednesday, and Sunday Mercury in Taurus will be retrograde, along with Venus (which has thankfully moved back into softer Pisces, as has Chiron), which all present us with a wonderful opportunity to finally truly heal our deepest wounds so that we can move into the Age of Aquarius gracefully. This deep wounds wants to be healed. Everything we have been through thus far at this point has all been part of this process. Saturn conjunct the Galactic Center shows this epic point of transformation. Aquarius is all about community,

Uranus in Aries is all about freedom, square Pluto in Capricorn brings us face to face with the past, the patriarchy, ego, authority, power, control, the Illuminati. Tom gives us a great analogy to this aspect – he says it is like giving birth in a forest filled with lions, tigers and bears. Necessary precautions must be taken.

This is so worth watching, when you have the time, and due to certain physical circumstances, cutting this short, which i figure is far better than skipping typing up this summary.

The mantra: Expanding into my future, I confront my limiting past, the test to see if both can be transformed by Me at last.

Kaypacha: Namaste. Aloha. So. Much. Love.

Kamea: Rainbow Blessings. Om namaha shivaya.
