This week Tom is in Punta Muna, a lovely beach about a six hour drive from his home in Costa Rica. He begins this report by reminding us that Jupiter is still opposite Uranus but holding strong in Libra (where it will remain until next Fall).
There is so much going on, folks! Mars and Venus are still in Pisces conjunct Chiron, but Mars is moving on into powerful and fiery Aries tomorrow, when we will celebrate the New Moon in crazy, wild, rebellious Aquarius.
Right now we have a Pluto/Mercury/Moon conjunction in Capricorn. Pluto is the god of the underworld and rules the kundalini, death and transformation of the soul. Mercury was the only god on Mount Olympus who can go into the underworld and emerge again alive. Mercury is the ego, the left brain, linear, logical messenger.
We can feel overwhelmed, like we are being killed, as if we are at the end of our strategy, the end of control. Surrender mode will help us get through this.
Pisces and Mars are still in Pisces, along with Neptune, the dark side of which has to do with feeling sleepy, helpless and confused, and like what in the blazes is going on? The light side of this is that Pisces is about community, about forgiveness, is infinite, selfless, soul, spirit and nature.
Mercury is also going direct, which will open up the blocked lines of communication.
Kaypacha reminds us of ancient Toltec wisdom – the Four Agreements:
(I don’t have the book on hand and am doing my best to do this speedily as I am visiting family right now, so these are from memory and most likely not in order, but I sure did love that book and I adore the work of Jose Arguelles).
1. Be impeccable with your words.
2. Always do your best.
3. Never take anything personally.
4. Don’t assume anything.
It’s time to dig our roots deep into the earth and spread them out, and become solid and grounded like a Seqoyah tree. Remember this too shall pass and know that the new paradigm is underway. Things may seem extremely crazy, but underneath it all, magic is brewing.
Kaypacha is working on a video which will explain what is going on astrologically the next 4-5 years, so it would be a good idea for us to watch this.
During such intense times, it certainly is wonderful to have such a great astrologer giving us all this report every week to help us understand what is happening and how to handle it, and how to prepare for the future.
I love typing up this summary in order to remember the key points of the report and have them here in my blog. I highly encourage everyone to take the time to watch him when you have the time – I usually watch it twice because I enjoy watching it with at least one other loved one after I have posted this summary.
And check out the New Paradigm community, where the Dream Team astrologers are there with their many talents and the archives filled with astrological wisdom of all type, not to mention videos of Kaypacha teaching kundalini yoga, his video of 2017 and lots of other goodies. And it only costs $15 a month!
This week’s mantra is: When it gets so intense I can’t take anymore, and there’s simply no way out, I see my truth and must fine a new source of strength and love in my heart.
We are breaking out of thousands of years of patterns – and the longer a pattern is in place, the more energy is required to break out of it.
I am in Los Angeles again – went to Fresno last week – connecting with my family of origin is an incredibly wonderful healing experience and I am enjoying this tremendously. So many memories are arising as I peel many layers of dysfunction. Had the blessing of going to the Lakeside Shrine, which was founded by one of my favorite yogis – Paramahansa Yogananda. Meditated in the chapel with two of my siblings and am feeling extremely connected to Jesus, Gandhi, Babaji, Lahiri Mahasaya, Mother Mary, Krishna and my heart is wide wide open. I never expected to be here, so my mind is also blown. This is some great juju here!
Amazing times. Remember to stay centered in Love and Light – everything will be alright, but we are going through some crazy sh*&* first, that is for sure.
Kaypacha: Namaste. Aloha. So. Much. Love.
Kami: Rainbow Blessings. Om namaha shivaya. I love you all.
So today my blog is one year old. So happy to be here. And just knowing that my blog has reached all four corners of the world in its first year makes me very happy. For some day I wish to travel around the world, perhaps doing healing workshops. And definitely writing more poetry and the books that are bubbling up inside of me.
Anyway, right now this little vacation is like the best medicine my heart and soul could ever ask for. I am so thankful for the chance to reunite with my family! Family is such a blessing.
May your paths be blessed, wherever you are, and no matter how crazy things seem, remember we are in the turning of the Ages and we are the ones we have been waiting for.
It poured down rain all morning and into the afternoon, reminding me of this song from the Sixties, It Never Rains in California:
This week Kaypacha gives us advice from beautiful Costa Rica, beginning the show with a lovely glimpse of his astronomy software which gives such a delightful look at the planets as they circle around the sun. He says that the big thing right now is Jupiter in Libra opposite Uranus in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn with a T-square between all three. At the same time, Mars is square Saturn, and Venus is getting very very close to Mars, a conjunction which will become tighter and tighter and also visible in the night sky until the end of February.
With Venus and Mars both being in emotional and sensitive Pisces and heading on into fiery Aries, things are pretty intense for relationships of all kinds, including with ourselves. Balancing the feminine and the masculine within ourselves is key to dealing with these energies. It’s a good idea to do lots of preparation for the body now – retreat, yoga, run, whatever your thing is for getting strong and centered, before the planets which rule our love lives move into Aries, that is for sure.
And as if this were not enough, Chiron is conjunct Venus and Pluto and Mercury are both hanging out in Capricorn, letting us all know it is time to get down to business. For me, this is manifesting in suddenly being able to do healing massages again. Not suddenly actually, but slowly and surely and carefully, and I still have to be careful not to overdo. In fact, Tom (Kaypacha) talks a lot about burnout during this week’s Pele Report – it is a real thing and it takes years to recover from, but it is possible to recover. Far preferable not to get into that go, go, go mode in the first place – to feel guilty if one has to take the time to heal from serious injuries or surgeries or complications from childbirth – people pushing themselves to the brink of extinction – and for what? What will we give our children if our bodies and the body of our planet are polluted and overused? These body temples love to shine – we must treat them with such loving kindness. And our bodies will tell us what they want! As will our planet. Listening to the planet will help us to clean up some of the big messes that have been made.
Kaypacha has made a video with his projections for the entire year of 2017, the Year of the End of Illusion, and it is highly advisable that we all check it out. The membership at the New Paradigm astrology is only $15 a month and includes a newsletter and access to the astrology archives and the readings of the Dream Team. They are having an astrological celebration in Costa Rica in May, check it out at astrologyrising.com. He also made a kundalini yoga video and I am very interested in checking this out, I love learning new forms of yoga.
It is going to be an exciting, shocking, transformative year, and it is important we remain centered and focused on love and light and also understand compassionate witnessing without getting too torn up as the very fabric of reality is shifting. Te turning of the ages is not just time passing into another year. Huge energetic shifts abound and we may experience some physical discomforts and ailments during this time, so it’s a good idea to take extra good care of ourselves. We can feel overwhelmed at times and that is the time when it’s good to hold space and stand strong.
The patriarchy is dying and a new egalitarian society which is also a global ecoculture where humans thrive without war and use green energy and encourage simplicity is emerging in place.
This is one of the best, but I have thought that before. This week’s mantra is:
Sometimes the world is so bizarre, I simply can’t relate. But my work is to stay and support by lovingly holding space.
Kaypacha: Namaste. Aloha. So. Much. Love.
Kami: Rainbow Blessings. I love you all.
Los Angeles traffic is a lot different than Oklahoma traffic, lol! I’m pretty thankful to being to reunite with my family at this auspicious time on the planet. Many, many blessings more will be coming, along with challenges, but we will rise to meet those challenges, yes indeed we will.
A’ho Mitakuye Oyasin.
Today has been a wonderful sleepless adventure which included arriving at the airport at the exactly last minute allowed before the ticket is forfeited due to a slight mix up in my silly mind about the time of departure!
But I made it, and while talking to my sister on the phone about someone we both love very much who is going through a very difficult time, a kind woman tapped me on the shoulder and asked if she could give me a protective Mother Mary medal and a rosary to take as a gift. How sweet is that? So we ended up sitting by each other and becoming friends. We had so many synchronicities. But she spends her days doing charity work and lives with one of her grown daughter’s family. We talked so much about Mother Mary and the power of prayer.
My sister has treated me to Chinese food from the Wacky Wok which was delicious, and tomorrow I will be giving her boss a healing massage. This is to be a week of healing.
Many blessings of love, light and Mother Mary.
I am a somewhat obsessive compulsive personality type who will, at times, put matters of housekeeping ahead of my need for food. We are instructed to give ourselves oxygen first in case of airborne distress, and we should do the same with our children. To begin this at birth without a compassionate support group can seem impossible. Attempting to conform to this other culture, the culture I grew up around and looked into longingly, but was hated until I blossomed and then I was loved. The edge of the barbed wire fence in the high desert mountains of New Mexico.
The grandmothers of my children were so different from my mom. And they encouraged me to be like them, and I did my best. But I still ended up being more like my mom and didn’t like to spank or punish my kids. I spoiled them a bit. Loved them so much. I wanted them to have more of a childhood than I had.
But lots of my childhood was wonderful and my mom was an amazing woman whom I wish to write an entire book about. She was magical and led us on some amazing experiences and adventures. We rebirthed with Leonard Orr in Campbell Hot Springs and learned the rain dance from a Navajo shaman. It rained with our little tiny Dodge Dart all the way across the Mojave Desert to New Mexico. At a trading post we told the cashier we brought the rain and she thanked us.
When we lived in Los Angeles about six years or so later, she took me and my sister and some friends to dance with the whirling dervish
And my yogi son who was born in Los Angeles is the only one who spent a great deal of time at an ashram prenatally. My mom had the blessing of receiving Shaktipat from Guru Maya Chidvilisananda and she shared that with us.
Back and forth, from Southwest to Southern and Northern California my family has traveled. I moved too many times to count while growing up and in my early adulthood. And now, in the town of my birth, I have lived for the past 23 years which makes 26 as we moved to Southern California when I was 3. My parents divorced and my mom was drawn to the Flower Child movement. Love-Ins were everywhere.
And right now both my sisters and both my brothers live in Los Angeles and my other relatives are north and south of us and so I will be connecting with a large portion of my mom’s side of the family. This is so exciting!
I have to get at least two and a half hours of sleep, everything is done and I just wanted to say hello and please think positive thoughts, prayers for safe travels for me.
Rainbow Blessings of Love and Light, my friends.
Oh, by the way, one of my new clients has crystals, fossils and essential oils and botanicals and we trade! I got tiny gemstone jars for my sisters and nieces and fossils for my nephew and sons, rough raw rock quartz and a huge clear quartz for myself and my healing work. I can feel it is a great activator and my two selenite wands will work well with it. And eucalyptus.
See you soon! My sisters are more tech savvy than I am and are going to help me fix up my blog, post more than one picture at a time and I have a much nicer camera phone now.
Because things keep getting better, bit by bit, despite the fact that the darkest hour is just before the dawn. The dawn must not be too far off. I do read the news and it does get me upset. So I return to prayer. Let there be peace on earth and let it start with me. Blessed be.
