In the Midst of the Lionsgate

In the Midst of the Lionsgate

We’re now in the Lionsgate until 08/08. Great time for holding and anchoring the Light, connecting to the grid. Last year for the Full Moon during this window, I had a rough day, but as the Moon began to rise in all Her glory, felt inspired to go out and work on my trellis for my morning glories. As I was hammering away, the sound of children howling at the moon rose to the balcony.

So I went and hung out with the children for an hour. They showed me how to use the zoom feature of my camera phone. I showed them my faerie gardens and they asked me if I was rich. Lol. So cute. I talked to them about yoga and we generally had a fantastic time. Children love being listened to.

So tonight I finally manifested a yoga teacher coming here to my complex to teach yoga on the enormous front lawn. And four children randomly showed up, just as I wished! I’m trading massages for being taught Hatha yoga along with some Pranayama. This is very cosmic. Already made an announcement on FB, and we are going to have class every Friday night! Maybe except for artwalk nights.

Signing up to do chair massage at Groovefest. Held every year at one of the best local parks with an amphitheatre, lots of trees, a gazebo and a pavilion, two playgrounds and a skate park, along with a Full size kitchen, picnic areas and a splash pad, it was built in the 1940’s to provide space for a variety of community events. This particular festival is all about human rights, is hosted by Amnesty International, and features a full day of local artists, speakers, and vendors of food and art.

I read a couple of my poems there once, and got a standing ovation! Also had three recorded and put on a CD while in junior college. And one was published in the college anthology for that year. My poetry professor contributed it as a surprise for me. That was so sweet of him! Next project is I am going to record my poems and share them here and in FB land, Twitter and Google Plus.

I digress, please forgive me.

At Groovefest there’s also a lot of activities for the kids. It’s my favorite event of the year around here, although the Medieval Fair comes in a close second. It’s inevitable to run into dozens of friends, so going far above the hug quota happens every time. I love this town.

Feeling so thankful for the many blessings. And challenges are blessings too.

Sweet Dreams, my friends. May your weekend be blessed!

Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.

Kaypacha’s Pele Report for July 27, 2016

Kaypacha’s Pele Report for July 27, 2016

This week’s report comes from the canals of Florence, in front of the Boboli Gardens, the old home of the Medici family. Very cool. The Moon into Taurus on Wednesday, heads into Gemini today, friendly and nurturing Cancer Saturday, then Leo on Monday.

The New Moon is in Leo on Tuesday. With the Sun, Moon and Venus in light hearted Leo, things will finally be smoothing out. This aspect truly helps lighten the load we have been carrying – release some of that pressure.

Uranus goes retrograde Friday and Venus goes into Virgo, which is square Mars and triggers intensity. Tuesday Mars finally leaves Scorpio again and moved on into Sagittarius.

The stars are telling us it is time to grasp this message of enlightenment, let go of that old patriarchal paradigm. This is a critical turning point. Feelings guilt and shame, of not being ready, are coming to the surface, for they have been bottled up for millennia now.

Tom’s advice is for us to hold, maintain and know. We are being confronted by our wounding, but our wounds themselves become our medicine. We are all vulnerable. Ironically enough, it is in our weakness that we find our strength. We must be strong and soft at the same time.

This week’s mantra:

“Like the whale that lives in the sea, yet bursts forth high in the air, the more I know the depths of my soul, the more I can open and care.

Namaste. Aloha. So. Much. Love.”

Just in time to uncover my own wounding, I have found a yoga teacher willing to come teach me – on the front lawn beginning tomorrow night – in trade for massage. What a blessing.

Rainbow Blessings of Love, my friends. Om mane padre hum.

Volunteering is Good For the Soul

Volunteering is Good For the Soul

So today I was blessed to gift a massage to a dear friend who had brain surgery last week. Luckily, the surgery was successful and they were able to remove all of the malignant tumor she unfortunately was dealing with. I have known her for at least 15 years, so it was truly an honor to work with her.

And now I have another massage tomorrow morning and am scheduling more! I decided to run a special and slash my rates. Also I as able to finally fix up my son’s room for massages. I used to do them in my room, but since I found a fabulous brand new writing desk by the dumpster a couple weeks ago and dragging it to my and apartment, there isn’t enough room any longer. It was a special sign, finding that desk. I love it!

I am ordering a new massage table next week, as my current one is old and falling apart. I’ve had it for fourteen years and bought it second hand. Found one on Amazon for the same price I paid for the one I have. It’s purple, my favorite color.

Things are falling into place. What a relief! Everything truly does happen for a reason. Now I must get some sleep so waking up will be easier than usual.

I love you all, have a wonderful Thursday, I’ll be posting Kaypacha’s Astrology for the Soul tomorrow.

Rainbow Blessings of Love and Gold and Pink Light.

Mountain Magic

Mountain Magic

The sounds of drumming and singing filled the air as we sat around our campfire, making dinner for the children. The air was already chilly, for at 9,000 feet the temperature drops below freezing at night, even in July. We were all exhausted from hiking up and down the mountain all day, hauling water, visiting Kiddie Camp and other kitchens.

George’s bright blue eyes sparkled as he whispered, “I love you” and led me by the hand down the mountain. We had spent most of our time at the Rainbow Gathering tending to family duties and helping my friend with her’s. Between the two of us there were thirteen, quite a tribe. Her husband was on his last legs and nearly blind, and her youngest child a 1-year-old, so we helped as much as we could.

But tonight was our night. So we hiked down the mountain, holding hands and singing, hoping to find the Bliss Pit I had been looking out for. There were at least fifty large kitchen camps set up around a five square mile radius, and about ten thousand people. The purpose of the Gathering is to peacefully assemble and demonstrate the power of Love and peace. The high holy day is the 4th of July, when silence is observed til noon, at which point the Om circle is held in the main meadow.

This was our special night, and as we had just become engaged after a long breakup, our bliss was quite palpable. When we reached the bottom of the mountain we found some friendly folks at a few campfires and eventually stumbled across the Bliss Pit.

This fire was intense – the wood set up like a pyramid, the heat radiating with ferocity and warming us to the core. Beautiful people were dancing around ecstatically as several drummers created magic beats.

We waited until there was a space for us to join in with the dancers, and I lost myself in abandon as the rhythm carried us away. Tears rolled down my cheeks as my body swayed and my feet carried me faster and faster around the fire. Sweat began to trickle down my spine, and I began to sing . . .

There is a lady who rides the night sky. Watch her spin as she flies on by. She is within us, beginning to end. Our grandmother, our sister, our friend. She is the needle and we are the thread, she is the weaver and we are the web. She changes everything she touches and everything she touches changes.

And . . .

You are my brother, you are my sister, you are my lover, you are my friend. You are the beginning, you are the center, you are beyond the end. And I love you so, for you help me see, to see you in all, is to see you in me. I’m in you and you’re in me. I’m in you and you’re in me.

And . . .

We are opening up, like a lotus flower, spread our wings and let our Spirits take us higher. We are opening. We are opening.

We danced and sang in that circle for hours. People told us we werea beautiful couple and embraced us. Filled with joy and bliss, we finally climbed up the mountain and made love in our tent with billions of bright stars shining upon us.

That was one of the best nights of my life. Never in a million years would I have imagined that this love would later deteriorate, that one day I would have to run away with my kids in the middle of the night. But the magic of that mountain night is not any less sweet regardless of what happened later.

It’s the beautiful memories I wish to preserve. I did change his name, of course. There were many other beautiful moments during that adventure, which I wrote an entire short story about and will share that some time in the near future. Time has a way of slipping from me too quickly!

Rainbow Blessings of Love to you all, my friends. Thanks for following my blog.

Springing Into Self

Hurt feelings
like stinging nettles,
guidebooks along
this labyrinthine
life long journey
towards Love.

Springing into self,
calling back
untethering the reins
of my soul,
reclaiming long lost
pieces of me,
reclaiming my own
identity now.

Surrendering yet again,
this sacred space of
solitude and healing
need not be interrupted
by any less than
half-hearted attempts
at continuing some
newfound midnight rendezvous.

Let’s Go Down in the River to Pray

Let’s Go Down in the River to Pray

“Let’s go down in the river to pray,
study about them good ol’ days,
and who should wear the starry crown,
good Lord, show me the way.

Oh, sisters, let’s go down,
let’s go down, come on down,
Oh, sisters, let’s go down,
down in the river to pray.”

Having recently found a fabulous series chock full of esoteric information on Gaia TV called Arcanum, it is utterly fascinating to see the similarities in ancient Egyptian lore and early Christianity. The paintings of Jesus as a star being are so uplifting! His starry crown definitely intact, he also stands in a blue cosmic egg in many of the images. There are images of Buddha and Thoth and Krishna with similar qualities.

A Rainbow Robe is also depicted around them, radiating the rainbow rays outward brilliantly. This image of Buddha wearing this robe I have shared here also shows the blue pearl, and is my gift to all of you.

According to these teachings, the actual seat of the soul is a blue
Pearl located right behind the third eye. This is the key point to focus on when meditating, for total oneness here opens that Rainbow Bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.

This is not just a romantic metaphor. For we are made of particles, swimming molecules of Light, so with raising our vibrations to match those of whoever happens to be the One who speaks most personally to us, we open a portal to alternate universes.

Mother Mary and Kuan Yin are good examples of the goddess personified. It is no wonder the statues and paintings depict them surrounded by such incredible auras and halos. Also star beings. The halo and aura themselves become a stargate with Ascension.

We are all the same. Star stuff doing out best to fit into flesh, all sparkling and not fitting into this flesh so well at times. At other times, our two essences, stardust and clay, merge most beautifully. We are here to match our vibrations with the masters, for we too, are masters.

My granddaughter was having a conversation with her friend the other day, who was talking about their differences. Loralai came inside and asked her mother, “Mom, aren’t we all the same? Don’t we have the same blood and the same heart?” Such beautiful observations by a 5-year-old.

I also discovered Jesus was an astrologer! A starchild who came to earth to show us that we, too, are starchildren.

So I am going down to the river to pray, feeling my heart and mind expand with love, and focus on that blue pearl of wisdom. I pray for angels to assist humanity in this time of turmoil and transition as the old paradigm passes away and the new paradigm begins.

We are living in some amazing times! Time to reclaim our mastery. And oh, the possibilities which lie before us, seven billion of us coming into our illumination!

For we are all in this together. A’ho Mitakuye Oyasin. We are all related.

And We are Ascending, my friends.

Kaypacha’s Pele Report for July 20, 2016

Tom (Kaypacha) begins this week’s report from a cave on the island of Antipados in Greece, thought to be the original home of Hades, god of the underworld. Stunning to say the least, but you may need to use an auxiliary speaker as the volume in the cave is not optimum, which is unusual for these videos. But it is inside a cave, after all – but not for the whole clip.

The moon moved on into Aquarius Tuesday night and is moving into Pisces tomorrow and Aries on Saturday. Good time to be mindful of short tempers Saturday! (My rising sign is in Aries in contradiction to my Cancer Sun and Pisces Moon,so I have to be extra mindful when the moon is in Aries).

The Sun joins Venus and Mercury in Leo Friday, ushering in light hearted summer celebration time. Let go and let loose!

Along with the south node of the Moon being conjunct with Neptune in Pisces square to Saturn in Sagittarius, we are being given tremendous opportunity to explore the subconscious spiritual realms and bring up all which has been suppressed for millennia …

The report highly informative and comforting, this week’s mantra:

It’s about becoming a master. When surrounded by disaster, I stay within my center, not as victim, but as creator.

Tom’s sign off: Namaste. Aloha. So. Much. Love.

Thanks, Tom, we love you!

Rainbow Blessings. Om mane padme hum.
