We Are All Rainbows

We Are All Rainbows

Paravati in me has helped me multitask through forty years of birthing and raising six beautiful souls, after helping raise my own brothers and sisters, and sometimes Mama too. Feels like I suddenly may have her eight arms whenever midswirl in activities.

Ganesh in me helps remove my inner and outer obstacles, reminds me to grin after another dance with Trickster. For he knows what it’s like, his own papa Shiva burned his first head off. And then gave him an elephant head to appease his mama.

Kuan Yin in me has filled me with empathy and compassion. Even with my first baby, any time I heard any baby cry, my milk would spring forth.

Mixing traditions is what I do, do so love that eagle’s eye point of view. No disrespect intended, so much respect for all, yet no boxes, only the teachings of the ways of love and light for me, along with love for my shadow and our collective shadow, for to hate or fear it or deny it is dis-empowering.

Fearlessly my heart opens to the Christos flame as Christ Consciousness unites us all, teaching us to be vessels, to be the Rainbow Bridge and dance together into the New World.

My own personal Jesus loves my inclusivity, it’s what he has taught me. Loving all means also loving Self. When we turn within, we find this great Love which passes all understanding.

And with that comes Peace. This is the mandala I gaze upon. We are all Rainbows.

Blessed be. Amen. Om Namaha Shivaya.

The Hall of New Beginnings

The Hall of New Beginnings

Floating between
lifetimes
in the hall of
New Beginnings

this world between worlds

where infinite possibilities

stretch out
across
the imaginary
boundaries
of Time.

This is No-Time
and No-Space,
this Longer Now,
this No-Thing-Ness

place where I am free,

I am loved and loving,
this cloak of pain and scars
softly fading,
my rainbow cloak
brightly glowing,
for I herald from the stars.

Planted in this world of Light
and Shadow to help new beginnings grow.

My children are my garden,
they are the quivering arrows
of life shot from my bow.
They are grown into saplings now,
their roots digging deeper into this earth,
their branches spreading far and wide,
they too are planting gardens,
they too are in this Hall of New Beginnings.
They too herald from the stars.

Healing now,
loving ourselves,
loving each other
Unconditionally,
loving this world and
all her inhabitants
Unconditionally,
we are breathing
and loving the New Earth
into being.

Om Shanti.

Blessed be.

Love Will Find You

Love Will Find You

Love will find you,

yes, find you and

remind you of the

sweetest things this

life has to offer.

The delicacy of

lingering kisses,

the warmth of

heartfelt embraces,

the comfort of

spooning,

the gratification

of stimulating

conversations,

lasting long into the night,

starting early Sunday mornings,

love will find you.

Love will sneak

up on you,

catch you off guard,

leave you breathless,

knees shaking,

heart pounding,

soul singing “Yes”

as each beautiful

moment unfolds

into itself,

healing all wounds,

dissolving all pain,

Love, the great healer,

will find you at last.

Better Days

Better Days

Those days of punishment
and confinement
over now,
I died a thousand times,
and still am here,
heart filled with gratitude,
heart filled with song,
clearing spaces,
new space,
new heart,
new me.

In that time of dying,
lessons learned,
tools given,
tools of healing
and forgiveness,
led me through
the labyrinth,

And out of the primordial goo,
these wings, these wings,
they grew, they grew.

Some cannot recognize me now,
so used to my caterpillar days,
so used to my wounded warrior ways,
that these wings, these wings,
they cannot see these wings.

Perhaps their rainbow iridescent hues
are too brilliant
to see through
caterpillar eyes.

No More Sides

No More Sides

Pick a card,
choose a side,
but don’t ever
look inside,
it’s so much better
to duck and hide
from each other.

Be afraid, be so afraid
of every difference
that you see,
look through the lens
only partially,
locally,
not globally.

Ahh but don’t you
see, that inside
we are always free,
and when we look inside
we see,
the true face of
humanity.

It’s not our differences
that matter,
but all the ways
we are the same,
one family we be,
part of Gaia’s giving tree,
we can be free.

Embracing Oneness as our path,
diversity delights us at last,
And hand in hand we stand up
collectively.

We stand up for each other,
for our planet, She is our mother,
And what we do to her,
we do to each other.

And what we do to one another,
we do to ourselves,
In La’kesh,
we are connected,
I am another you.
And I wish always
the best for you.

Deep breaths now,
the time has come to band together,
to hold our candles in the rain,
as the world has gone insane,
fighting wars,
so much pain,
but in the center there is calm,
And that calm is where we be,
powerfully connected,
And Love will set us free!

Woody Guthrie Festival

The clear and powerful
voice of Judy Collins
singing Diamonds and Rust
met my eager ears
as my friend and I
reached the Fields of Plenty.

My heart burst open wide,
as each song played
to full beauty and perfection,
touching the hearts and souls
of all as each true note lingered
in the clear night sky.

Judy sang This Land is Your Land
in honor of the people’s hero,
champion for human rights,
Woody Guthrie, whose guitar
was a weapon against fascists.

At the campsite earth magic
hung heavy in the air,
shadows loomed large
And people shared their
secret beauty and bluegrass music
throughout the night,
as each circle of players
created perfect harmony,
magical music rose to meet
the majestic silence
of Night and Nature.

Being still inside of me,
the Sun brought my heart
with it as it rose above
the prairie, whispering
to me, “I will drive you crazy,
delight you with my beauty,
amaze you with the awakening
life in the prairie,
I may terrify you with painful nights,
but I will help you face your fears
and force those inner demons
to leave you fearlessly,
for I have you to share
my journey with.”

Learning to Let Go

Learning to Let Go

To learn to let go
hardest lesson of all.
So stubborn,
so damn good,
but sorry,
sorry for trying
to do it all my way.

Perfection isn’t a realistic goal
to strive for.
Excellence is grand,
but to try to be perfect
may drive you mad.

“Trying is dying”
she said to me,
And I knew not
what she meant,
for I could not let go.

But now I have let go
And the Universe
rejoices at my return.

I’ve been locked
in the prison of perfectionism
for far too long,
while waiting for
my magic carpet ride
through the skies.

Now I cast off the
shackles of pain,
of insecurity,
fears of my imperfections,
and the world or madness.

Heart and mind open wide,
I finally got the chance
to be happy.

The times I was waiting for
are now.
The one I was waiting for is me.
All is well,
all is good.

Blessed be.
